You will download Africa Geographic digital magazine to your desktop
and then read it offline. Once you have filed the digital magazine on
your computer it remains active at all times, in other words you don't
have to go online every time you want to read it. A small portion of
the content is available by linking to web sites and for that you will
need to go online.
Yes, once you have downloaded it onto your computer it is available like any other saved document.
Some form of high-speed (broadband) access such as ADSL or 3G. Dial-up
Internet access will unfortunately time-out and is therefore unable to
complete the download. Sorry about that - it's not in our hands.

It depends on the speed of your internet connection, but with broadband it should take between 30 seconds to 10 minutes.

The download may have been automatically saved to a download location on your computer. You could do a search for this on your system. Alternatively, you can log in, and complete to the download again at no charge to you.
AWF members needs only input the password supplied to them in the email and follow the simple registration instructions that follow. This user information is necessary to allow us to give support when required and to let registered users know when the next issue is available for download.
Unfortunately, the iphone does not as yet support this format. If and when it does, we will certainly offer this as an iphone application.
For the time being the magazine is being offered at no charge to friends and family of Africa Geographic subscribers and AWF members.
